Located in the Albert River Valley at the head of Tipperary Creek. Park, Major headwater Kootenay River.

Named in 1917. HMS Tipperary was a destroyer lost during the Battle of Jutland during WW I. After being spotted by searchlights it was sunk by enemy battleships. Official name.

First ascended in 1919 by Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Eddy, Mr. and Mrs. V.A. Fynn, guided by Rudolph Aemmer.
