Named in 1920. Willerval is a small village near Lens which was captured by Canadian troops in 1917 during WW I. Official name.

Other Information

Mount Willerval, Monchy Mountain, and Mount Hooge lie to the west of Amery Creek and east of Ridges Creek, both of which flow into the Alexandra River from the south.
