Named by Alpine Club of Canada in 1972. Sharp, William T. (William Sharp was killed by a falling serac on the Clemenceau Glacier.) Official name.

First ascended in 1972 by R. Lidstone and partyJournal reference CAJ 56-83.

Other Information

William Sharp and Roland Morrison were both killed by falling seracs. Mount Sharp and Mount Morrison are only 200 metres apart on a ridge to the northeast of the Cummins Glacier in the Clemenceau Icefield area.
