Named by Roger Neave in 1964. Ney, Marshall Michel (Marshall Ney was one of Napolean's subordinates. The absence of Marshall Ney's forces at a critical point in the Battle of Waterloo is said to have led to Napolean's defeat. Ney was later executed for treason.) Official name.
