Named by Samuel E.S. Allen in 1903. Huber, Emil (A Swiss climber, Emil Huber (together with Carl Sulzer) made the first ascent of Mount Sir Donald in the Selkirks in 1890.) Official name.

First ascended in 1903 by G. Collier, E. Tewes, guided by C. Bohren, Christian Kaufmann. Journal reference AAJ 5-151.
