Named by C.L. Noyes, H.P. Nicholls, C.S. Thompson, G.M. Weed, Ralph Edwards in 1899. Baker, G.P. (A memer of the Alpine Club (London) who accompanied members of the Appalachian Mountain Club to the Rockies in 1897) Official name.
