| Difficulty Easy, with one moderate step via northwest ridge. Heart Mountain is close to Calgary, can often be ascended year-round owing to chinooks that blast the route bare. It makes a fine after-work outing from Calgary. Kane, Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies page 66 |
