Photo: Looking southeast to Brachiopod Mountain (courtesy Sonny Bou)Together with Anthozoan Mountain which lies to the south it, Brachiopod Mountain forms a long north-south oriented ridge to the west of upper Baker Creek.
| Easy scrambles via the west slopes. Neither of these objectives poses any difficulty, and each is readily ascended by west-facing scree slopes. With a camp at Baker Lake, both can be done in one day and you'll be back in time for dinner. Each of these summits is a good argument for use of ski poles because of the looseness of the terrain.
